Nakon što se skoro utopi, mlada Vejverli se neočekivano zaljubljuje u spasioca iz malog grada koji ju je spasio. Zasnovana na romanu Kejt Marčant, ova ljubavna drama budi emocije duboke kao i samo morsko dno. Vejverli (Andrea Bang) je imala isplaniranu budućnost. Trebalo je da započne medicinski staž u Torontu, ali kada su joj se planovi iznenada promenili, impulsivno skreće u mali kanadski grad gde upoznaje lokalnog spasioca Blejka (Robbie Amell). Nakon što ju je spasio od utapanja, Blejk joj ponudi da je nauči da pliva, pa se oni sa svakim časom plivanja zaljubljuju sve više jedno u drugo.
